Default Clicking from down under

2004 discovery 175k miles. My concern is, only when the ambient temp or cabin temp is cool/cold, I get a clicking from the BCM. With the clicking comes a few issues like fog lamps shut off, the shifter lights flicker, turn signal operate sporadic(sounds like a double click without illuminating),door latches don’t actuate and lastly is the shifter lock wont disengage. If I remove all the relays from the front of the BCM it still clicks internally. Are there serviceable relays on the backside/inside the BCM?

Don't think so, sounds like you have a cracked solder joint. Cold temps probably result in shrinkage in the joint, resulting in open circuit. You might be able to take the cover off and look at the solder joints and find the bad one under a loupe.

Sound logical, I didn’t think it was the xyz switch since I don’t get an error from PRND321 and on screen. I didn’t think it could be a brake switch since it happens with the other concerns. From just thinking, It seems to be a power/ground miscontact at the BCM. Let’s see if I can get it out and apart soon. Thank you for the theories
