Default Clicking sound at low speeds

So recently I've been experiencing a clicking sound at low speeds while accelerating, gets less noticeable at faster speeds, and the returns as the vehicle is coming to a stop. The noise can be felt in the in the e brake handle. I have removed the front driveshaft, which has stopped the noise. This is a Tom woods double cardan driveshaft. Its about 1.5 years old. Upon inspecting the drive shaft after I removed it, everything appears to be ok, except for a torn piece of the dust seal that is hanging loose around the centering ball. Nothing appears to be binding or grinding, or anything remotely noticeable. That being said, I'm no driveline expert.

Vehicle seems to drive normal with front driveshaft off. I do notice a loud clunk when shifting back and forth from drive to reverse.

So, what's my next move? Rebuild the driveshaft I bought less then two years ago? If so, does anyone have any resources on rebuilding a TW driveshaft.

I assume that you have been greasing the shaft, right? 1.5 years isn't that long... While you have it out, you can go ahead and check out the output flange also.

I thought I was doing a decent job at greasing the shaft, but I never did get a chance to hit the centering ball. After all the reading I've been doing, and a little more experience at pulling the shaft on and off, I'm regretting not greasing more often, and taking the time to find the zerk for the centering ball. What signs should I look for that the centering ball is shot? Also, what should I look at on the output flange?

just make sure nut is tight and flange only goes round and round, no linear movement. (kind of like checking a hub)
I get lazy and don't grease that center ball as often as I probably should... but I hit it a couple times a year. no problems
tw ujs are 1310
and here is some healthy reading on the centering ball

Thanks a bunch Dusty. I'll check the flange this weekend, and let you know how I make out.

even if you did not religiously grease it every oil change you would think the joints would last longer than that, you factory joints were only greased once and last longer than 1.5 years.

I haven't greased the centering ball in my driveshaft in the 2 years I've owned the truck. I bought it with a rebuilt driveshaft. I tried once but couldn't seem to find the right approach with the grease needle. I tried to find the thread from Antichrist where he provides specific directions but had no luck. If anyone has been able to grease the non-greaseable centering ball I would be very appreciative of any tips you can offer.

Gotta drop that end and articulate the dc, then you will see it with ease.
