Exclamation Climate Control Issue

I went by Auto Zone today to have my Service Engine Soon light read, turns out the light is on due to a O2 Sensor... The guy told me to disconnect the battery cables to clear the light. So when I got home I did so... and it cleared the light for a few miles... Well I never really use the A/C because in the Florida Panhandle it is great weather to just roll the windows down right now. But i turned the A/C on and now the climate control temperatures are messed up, it use to start at low then go through the 60's then 70's then eventually High, now after removing the battery cable removal it starts then Low then goes into the teens, then 20's 30's then to High. I also noticed that when I go to view the Ext Temp it was showing in the 20's out side instead of in the 70's which it was that day. Anyone know how to correct this issue???

In the future, never take advise from the kids at the auto parts store, they are seldom right.
Now, what were the exact fault codes he mentioned for your 02's, if you don't remember get them read again and get back to use, cause they are important.

X2 on not taking advise from the people at the auto stores, and even more so with rovers.
Get the codes, plug your ears, and RUN.

Go to www.atlanticbritish.com and on the left side of the home page are "tech tips", read them and print out the ones that you need and keep them in your glove box...like the "changing from "C" to "F" " one.

I take offense to that common since I used to work at an auto parts store.

Thanks everyone for your input, and or your solutions, I was able to correct the issue by pressing and holding the recirculation button along with the power button at the same time.
