Clunking when turning??
When I turn to the left or right I get alot of clunking and a little resistance. It starts to happen when I turn the wheel 1 1/4 turns. Any ideas, I was thinking cv joints, but wouldn't I hear that even when going straight? The transfer case is in 4 high

I would suggest you have a friend sit in your truck and turn the wheel left and right while you crawl under the fron end and listen. You can be looking at any of the body bushings, tie rod ends oe any of the steering componets including the shaft from the steering wheel to the gear box.
Couldn't test it last night, I went for a short drive and it didn't do it. Seems to only happen after it is warmed up.
I had another scary situation though while I was pulling out of the driveway at the grocery store, the brakes would not stop I was pushing very hard on the pedal and it was barely slowing down. After that they worked fine? I haven't done the brakes yet. Any ideas?

Not sure what year you have, or what the mileage is. I would lift the front tires and see if they have any play. Loose wheel bearing could do it. Might make a caliper hang. Be sure to block your rear wheels and lock the T-case when lifting.
