Default Code 1562 when cold

Im getting a weird issue on my ‘02 DII lately. Maybe once every two weeks when it’s cold I’ll get a 1562 code which also limps the engine etc. I’ll shut the car down and then start it back up and it’s fine. I also occasionally have the same issue with the battery light. I tested the battery and it’s a full 12v with the car off and just over 13v when at idle.

Any ideas what might be the issue?

Large emissions leak. Check gas cap, purge valve, and vacuum hoses.

Correct me if I'm wrong but P1562 is this:

P1562
(24) * Battery supply below 9V while engine running

Effect:
Maintains current gear in low range, limp
home mode in range. Shift pressure to
maximum, harsh gear shifts/engagement.

??

It looks like a voltage supply code, but its voltage supply to the transmission control system. Check charging voltage at the alternator and at the battery, check connections there as well. Check all connections for the range switch, the TCM(under the drivers seat) and any other transmission connectors. Open and clean them if needed.

DTC P1562
Battery supply check.

Possible causes by suggested order of priority:
^ Alternator fault.
^ Connector EAT C193.
^ Intermittent 12V supply fault C193/54 (LGO) to vehicle earth.

Alternator Fault.
CHECK THE FOLLOWING:
^ Ensure ignition ON (position 2) Ensure engine is running. Measure the voltage across the battery terminals.
ACCEPTABLE RANGE
10.5 V to 15 V.
POSSIBLE FAULTS
^ Alternator problem.

Connector EAT C193.
CONNECTOR
^ Check for connector not correctly latched, backed out pins, damaged pins, corroded pins.

Intermittent 12V Supply Fault C193/54 (LGO) To Vehicle Earth.
CHECK THE FOLLOWING:
^ Ensure ignition ON (position 2) Ensure engine is stopped. Measure the voltage between C193/54 (LGO) and C193/28 (B).
^ Move the connectors while making the measurement and ensure that the reading does not change. Also touch F12 Engine Compartment Fusebox to check for intermittent connections.
POSSIBLE FAULTS
^ Poor connection or intermittent harness fault (ECU power).

I have the same thing, except seems to be moisture related. Rainy days much more prevalent. I have not replaced the trans switch yet, that is next on my list.
