Code 23-01 - sticking throttle detected
Anyone seen this code before? It's being thrown in the slabs faults on my nanocom. I think it's LR specific.
I'm wondering if it might be the source of my high idle (~2200 RPM in park, back to normal once in reverse/drive. And only on cold starts.)
This high idle wasn't present until after a shop replaced my CPS. I'm not sure if the two are related, but it's at least an odd coincidence that the high idle and that code started after that work.
It wasn't *just* the CPS though...
Kind of long backstory here, but I'd started the CPS replacement myself, I ended up breaking the connector on the wiring harness. I couldn't reach it to replace myself, so went to a shop where they replaced both the CPS and wiring to the ECU. After getting the truck back, I noticed the high idle and I took it back to the shop for them to check out. They did so gratis since they weren't able to pinpoint a problem and suggested I take it to a LR specialist. They never mentioned seeing this code though.
I only ran across it today when I connected my nanocom. It hadn't ocurred to me that the slabs function and the motronic will show different/additional fault codes. I only stumbled on the 23-01 code because I was using the slabs functions to do a brake bleed.
So, I guess the tl;dr is: I've got this code, a cold start high idle until it goes in gear, and either the new CPS is related to the problem or a red herring.
