Probably a bad maf. Try cleaning it with crc maf cleaner. Let it dry completely before plugging it back in.

X2

Also is your mass air flow a Bosch of another brand? Make sure your maf is plugged in all the way.

And don't get too confident, many of these style codes have to happen two or four drive cycles before they cause light to come on again. A week of everyday driving is when to relax a little.

Hard way to learn not to buy a used MAF.
Go for a new one, that is what the codes are showing as being needed. Might consider British Parts of Utah, they have a good price on their new replacements.

I learned to never clean your Bosh MAF, I learned the hard way. I bought a new one for $199 and I when I was a newbie did not clear the codes so I decided to listen to the parts store and bought some MAF cleaner and 2 days later was paying another $199 for another MAF. When some of the people say clean it DO NOT! I guess if its already shot you have nothing to lose but that cleaner eats them alive.

Cleaner only "eats it alive" if you douse the hell out of it but if you lightly spray it will not harm it one bit i clean mine all the time and never have any problems.

And it is very important to clean it when the sensor is cold. When ignition is switched on to allow you to listen to the ball game while you work; some MAFs heat a spot inside to 350F above ambient. It does not like cold spray at that point, even a tiny squirt. More of wallet drain on a D1. But I clean the MAF my Disco, and Mercedes, and Kia - all with the CRC spray.
