Hi folks, I'm having fun with my rover again. Has anyone ever had the code p0741 before and if you have, what does it mean?

Not the best of news, P0741 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Performance or Stuck Off.
How many miles on your truck, how often do you service the tranny?

The truck has 73000 miles on it. I just changed the transmission fluid in the case only. I'm not sure if it has ever been done before.

My only couple of suggestions are, first count the number of times the tranny shifts, you should feel 4 shifts1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd, 3rd to 4th and then the torque convertor locking up.
Consider draining the oil again just to get you fluid even cleaner and add a bottle of Lucas tranny additive along with the ATF to help free up any potential stuck valves.
Then if you are still having problems, have a Rover mechanic that has a scanner that can read real time tranny problems diagnois what is happening.
