Default Code reader?

Will the ultra gauge read abs fault codes? If not can someone recommend an affordable scanner that will read everything for a discovery?

No. UG won't do ABS codes. Most other things tho.

I use an Autel something or other for ABS.

UG is a great cheap tool for monitoring most of the day to day stuff.

I thin think recommended combination is an Ultragauge and ABS Amigo.

I'm happy with my new Bosch OBD1100 from Oreillys. It was about $80 and is supposed to read ABS codes but tells me that mine is undetected, which Im hoping is only because I don't have any ABS faults as I have no lights illuminated. This one shows live data too. If you step up to the 1150 or 1200 model you get like 10x times more options including a link that gives you repair and replacement options of the parts related to each fault code and Lyman's terms. Now that's what's up!

Use http://enginecodemaster.com to type codes into it which may be hard to understand.
Patterned after the Rave manual

blue tooth ELM 327 dongle with Android app is the cheapest choice. I have mangoose pro with SDD software. It is good to enable cruise control and reset service interval.
