I went to autozone and got my codes read. I really need some help interpreting. The reader spit out two codes. P0305. Is that a misfire in a cylinder? I couldn't be lucky enough for it to just be a spark plug right? The truck does have fairly new wires (blue sti's).
And the second one is,P0455.

Any help would be awesome.

 

Also. It a 2000 disco II. With abt 130,000 miles.

So, when did that truck have it's last major service, how about a tune up along with 8 mm silicone wires?
Yes you have a misfire and a gross evap leak, neither of them related.
How mechanical are you?

 

Mike - Im not exactly sure when it's last major service was. I just acquired the rover. If I had to guess I'd say it's been quite a while. Just judging by the person I got it from. They didn't strike me as the type to go out on a weekend and get under the hood.


Fairly mechanical. Definitely can follow directions. What are we looking at here?
