Coil under the coil packs?

Sump refit, new gasket, o ring for the sump pick up and grommets
Got all the auxiliary components installed, didn't get pics of the process except this one
All put back together
Threw a cylinder 3 injector issue code, few steps back
Injector clip was loose
That's a beautiful sight....she's purring as kitten like as a rover engine goes

well she drove fine for the first two days, now i'm getting the following codes:
P1171, P0130 and P0171 (still drives fine)
Going to check the connections and vacumm lines after work tonight so if thats the issue. I did clean the MAF with a high end MAF cleaner, but from my research that probably didn't help in the disco II MAF.
Went ahead and found one off amazon for $55 bucks that appears to be compatible with the 03-04 disco per the comments, guess we'll soon find out
I do have a question for the group, i'm hearing a flapping in the blower motor when I turn the heat on, I also hear slushing...any ideas?

Congrats on getting it all back together. Looks like the block was ok after all.
My truck has thrown those codes recently and I just did the head gaskets 2,000 miles ago. Here's a nice thread on these codes: 2003 Land Rover Discovery SE 92k miles Check Engine Light - Land Rover and Range Rover Forums I did have the y-pipe off recently to weld up a cracked flange so I may have not plugged the O2 sensor back together very well. Since all of the codes relate to the same bank, it could just be a bad O2 sensor.
Regarding the blower noise, it's likely some leaves in there. It's easy to pull it out and check. For the slushing sound, I'm assuming you mean sloshing? Do you hear what sounds like a waterfall inside the dash when you are driving? If so, that's just some air in the heater core. When you drain the coolant, it can drop the level in the heater core enough to leave the top empty. Because of how the heater core is constructed and positioned, the highest point is well above the top pipe so it will trap air. The only way to get it out is to run the truck with the engine revving high enough to push enough coolant through the heater core to force out the air. once it is out of the heater core it will work its way to the tee where it can be bled through the screw.

for those inquiring on the MAF I found on amazon for the 4.6 03-04 disco, here is the link
back to work, thanks 04duxlr! I'll check for leaves after work (almost 100% sure that's the culprit since all the leaves have been dropping on the rover for the past month) and then rebleed the system
