RE: Coin Holder Stuck
If you have something a little large, like too many coins, they can cause it to stick, so tap with you hand under the coin holder with you hand, gently, to try and move the coins around and allow it to open.
Don't use a screw driver or it will be a total waist when done.

If you get it open you should apply some graphite powder to each coin slot thing. This way each slot will remain lubricated. If you use a liquid lubricant it will cause dirt, hair and other goodies to get gummed up in there. That graphite powder stuff is great for stuff like this. You can get it at any hardware store. (it's usually very fine white powder)

Old thread, some new information. It seems the helper springs on both the coin bin and ashtray can get wacky. I was able to remove both of my trays using a small suction cup, of all things.
Simply press the suction cup onto the face of the bin, then push/pull for open and push/pull again to close. Now, to figure out what happened to the spring mechanisms. Either they both broke or they both are out of position somehow.
Will post back when I figure this out unless someone else knows WTH is going on here -- please chime in.
