So, new water pump is in shipping as we speak. Should get it tomorrow, or, if I'm lucky, today. Got a friend of my wife, has a shop, works on D2's... said he'd replace it for $120. I'm sure it's easy enough to do, but I really don't want to mess with the fan. He can get it done in a day (read a couple of hrs), it'd would take me all weekend. He is going to do it on Monday. Right now, I'm making sure the coolant is topped off and I'm closely watching the temps.

For future reference, the fan is pretty easy.

With the belt still on, put a 12" crescent wrench on the nut and hit the handle with a hammer.

I thought I'd give an update... Almost all is well again. Water pump has been replaced and the temps are normal and the heater is working as it should. I did go ahead and order a new top radiator hose assembly as mine had the bleed screw in the hose and it was starting to leak. Got the newer version from AB yesterday. It should ship out today.

I'm going to start replacing hoses as I can for the rest of them. One question... The plastic lines that are extremely brittle and prone to breaking, do you guys replace those with another type of hose? I was going to try and replace them with a high temp rubber hose. Thinking along the lines of a gas line type hose. What's the consensus on that?
