Default Colorado machine shop for heads???

Anyone know of a good place to take my heads near Colorado Springs or Denver?

As far as price goes, here in CA there are a few that do good work. You supply the valve stem seals.

The cheapest I know of is $200 with heads being decked, but the guy I use charges $250. The price can go all the way to $450. Sometimes you get what you pay for, sometimes not. Good luck in your search.

Anyone know of some good places got the heads off so need to take them somewhere reliable...

This shop is in the forum member recommended list. Try calling them and asking if they can refer you to a good machine shop.

Try G&S, they scraped my heads and pulled a number of sheared bolts/studs for me - well, and the dealer uses them but the prices aren't higher if you go direct to them:

2nd that for anyone else looking. They did a great job on my heads a couple of years ago.
