I would try the woofer connetion an see how the set sounds. I would assume that the amp is high pass filtered at around 70-80hz rather than band passed.
As for combining the two...........i dont see how that could be done.

I saw your other post but didn't get a chance to respond. The system is set up with the cross overs in the amp, and the lows are sent to the woofers on one feed and the mids and tweeters are fed off another set of wires. You might be better off running the woofer signals to the 6.5's to pick up the lower frequencies, but if it sounds good you may not want to waste your time.
