I had a 1989 RR for about 2.5 years. I can say without a doubt that RRC's can cause temporary insanity. There's nothing better looking but my god are they are absolute nightmares to maintain. There is zero reliability, I mean ZERO. Take your normal Discovery issues and multiply by 1000 and you might get close to the level of frustration. Again, nothing better looking in the Land Rover line, I'd put the asthetics up there with the D90/110. I still lust after them even to this day, knowing full well the baggage that come with them. Did I say temporary insanity? Maybe it never leaves?
