Hey guys,

Being a new Disco owner, this site has been a life saver. I ordered new U joints and centering ball last night. Have a new throttle body plate and gasket on its way with step by step instructions from u guys. I feel much more comfortable about my new toy because of it.

When I crawled under the Disco last night to check u joints I noticed an oil leak. Its kinda hard to tell where it might be coming from. I was wondering if there is a spot or things I should check that are problem areas?

Get more specific if you can.
If need be, go degrease the top and bottom so you can see what exactly is leaking, then get back to us.

 

It appears to have leaked/used a quart of oil in 4000 miles. I will give it all a good cleaning after I replace the throttle body heater this weekend. (if the parts show up)
