Parked near a 03 this weekend, jeez the regular lettering looks low budget. I've been spoiled all this time. I would swap out my decal logos with the 3D lettering if I didnt have a 04. Should be an inexpensive yet dramatic project.

Are you talking about the side SE decals? I've always had silver 3D "LAND ROVER" lettering on my hood.

This 03 had flat decals all around. SE. LAND ROVER hood. DISCOVERY on tailgate. It could have been a very nicely done headlamp conversion, but the interior piping/seats/console was the same as an 04... had refresh bumpers/lamps/headlights.

Then I'd wager yours were previously replaced...

Or, maybe yours is a late-run '03? My '04 was actually built 10/03.

My S model 03 has the raised decals.... but no S (and obviously no SE) emblem at all. Mine is a fairly late 03 I suppose.

i don't care if my decals are raised or not, as long as they say Land Rover and not Jeep.

If the Discovery's in the bad vin range are the later models then yes I have one of those. Mine's had raised silver lettering since I got it. Even after an accident I had, they replaced them with raised letters.
