Default Computer Fried???

1995 land rover discover.

We jumped it off today cause of a dead battery and after we took the cables off with it running the gauge lights got very bright and the engine died.

We have checked all the fuses under the dash and the main fuses on the right fender under he hood. It has spark from the plugs and fuel pressure but will not fire now. We seem to think that the computer may have gotten damaged by the jump in voltage from a possible bad voltage regulator and now the injectors are not working.

Is there any other things to check before removing the computer to replace it? We can't find any more fuses to check. Help

I'd try pulling codes to see if the scan tool can communicate with control module.

It has the Diagnostic display box but it is not lit up. Also Today we have verified that it does not have fuel pressure like we thought. We manually supplied 12v to the pump and the pump runs but when we to crank it , nothing, I don't think that the injectors are firing.

First, go get your battery charged/tested and replaced if need be. Then install it and see what happens, I doubt it is the computer, sounds more like low voltage/charging issue.
