Default Water fried the electronics.. Need advice

My older brother has a 2008 Range Rover and they had an issue with the sunroof not seating correctly. I was riding with him when a storm hit with heavy rains. Water leaked through the sunroof and made its way back to the speaker amplifier.. It started making A loud "stereo screwed" noise that we couldn't stop. Even shutting everything off, while still driving the noise kept going on and off.. I jumped in the back and pulled the wires from the amp, and the noise quit.. None of the stereo or GPS on the dash works now..
They have taken it to a shop and those people couldn't do anything with it, so I figured I would run it by you guys..
Is there an easy fix? Is it a dealership only that needs to fix it?
