Default RE: Conversion to Diesel

This should answer most of your questions, this is the e-mail I got from that guy who made the switch. As far as passing emissions goes, check with your state, here in MI anything goes. No smog tests, you can pull your cats of and run all you want.Phil, I ordered the Engine from the Factory in Sao Paulo Brazil..I had it shipped up here by air. I odered the addapter plate/ kit from MD Engineering in the UK. I had that shipped here by air as well. I had the Intercooler built in texas by Bell Intercoolers..everything such as labor and fabrication and Installation I did my self...I did not have to do much to get the Engine to work. your Disco already has a fuel return line to the tank. so that wont have to be messed with. the Install kit from the UK came w/ everything needed to mount the engine and addapt it to the Auto trans. I used a Gentleman named Stephen Cahill to source the engine. he can be contacted at www.obwcanada.com intercooler at www.bellintercoolers.com and the install kit can also be sources through Mr. Cahill.... or you can contact David Jackson at www.mdengineering.co.uk
