Default coolant expansion tank

Is it pretty straightforward when removing the tank?? Just two hoses to remove, then refill with coolant? And those funky clamps....how do they come off???

Pull its rear side up about 2-3 inches, then maneuvre its front out of the craddle, the bottom hose will be bothering under, but work on it.

You remove them by sticking a screwdriver in the gap, and prying them apart. Then throw them away and replace with normal jubilee clips.

Have you searched the Forum? There's several threads about this procedure. Search for "overheating" and "bleeding coolant" and "Expansion Tank" and you should find what you need.

Slightly different from our setup, but very similar.

Well...that video made it simple. However.... because of other posts of frustrated people, I took it in to my mechanic. $74 later, my new reservoir is on, and I have peace of mind. Sometimes the forum can be swamped with the correct answer. But I do very much appreciate every ones help.
