Coolant flying all over the place this morning!
I was parking at work this morning and suddenly billows of white smoke were coming from under the hood. I popped the hood to see coolant spewing in a stream from a crazy location. I checked and it was all antifreeze, no oil. I am inculding pics. Hopefully they can help. Can anyone look at these and tell me why coolant would stream from the seam?
Thanks!
Nathan

If you replace the plate / gasket with a new one and do not bypass it, make sure you get the hose clamps on the nipples good and tight. There is not much of a barb on them, and I had one hose pop off on me.
I by passed mine 10 years ago with a small piece of copper tubing, never had a leak since
By the way, Rover has never been able to fix that after 4 design changes, thats why I got rid of mine.

Yep, whilst is a word. You can look it up.
I would not by-pass mine, because I live in northern Michigan where it might be 15 below zero Fahrenheit some mornings. I do not note from your post your location. As has been stated, in southern climes you are likely safe with the by-pass.

Per the dictionary I reviewed, whilst is the Cheifly Brit form of "while', so is most fitting here chaps! And that is why Savannah Buzz is a Super Moderator my friend
