Default coolant issues

I just bought a '95 disco a couple months ago(to replace my vw karmann ghia that was costing a fortune) and already replaced many parts because it hadn't really been regularly mateninced with the previous owners. I just figured out today that it was the coolant compartment that had been leaving puddles under the car every night when today it had a little spewage under the hood. I think that there is a leak that was made larger because of pressure.

getting to the point, has anyone had similar problems with this? does this relate to the tempurature red symbol on the dash?(car came w/o manuel)got a price range on this?

thanks

You need to figure out where your coolant leak is coming from. Pop your hood, get your hands dirty and take a close look. Your being too general for specific diagnostics. Once you figure out where its't leaking from we can help you. Check hose connections. How many miles on this one? If in fact you suspect excessive pressure in your coolant system, it may be due to a blown head gasket. Local shops can test for this. Get back asap. Merry Christmas. Regards.

I would suggest you have the coolant system pressure tested and if need be do a chemical coolant test, ASAP before you damage the heads or block. Then get back to us with the results.
