Default Coolant Leak ?

I just wanted to see if anyone knew what might be going on with my 2k Disco II? I have been seeing a small puddle of what I believe is coolant (red, smells kind of sweet) leaking from above the front bumber, driver side. I think its the coolant since the reservoire is low after a few days.

Took it in for service and they put a pressure meter on it and it held for over 24 hours?

Took it for an oil change and they said there wasnt anything visible, but did smell like coolant was leeking, but said it must be too small to worry about.

I'm going through a few cups of coolant a week, should I be worried about this much coolant or justkeep it topped up?

Do any of the radiator stop leak additives work?

Thanks, Tom on the Northside of San Antonio

On a warm day, start the engine and watch for any leaks as it warms up, look very closely at the two small hoses running to the throttle body as well as near the bumper where hoses run into the radiator. A lot of leaks evaporate very quickly on the hot engine or only leak a little when warm and under pressure while driving, that is why you don't see them. Don't use stop leak, you might just consider replacing all of the hoses since they are probably due anyways.

Also, the tension type hose clamps suck, get some worm-drive screwclamps on there if you find it leaking from a hose connection.

Do not use any of the coolanr sealants, they will just cause you alot of grief.
Find and replace the radiator or hose.

The leak will get worse, fix it before you have a real problem and it costs you more.
