Coolant Leak
I have a 2003 Discovery SE. I have about 92k miles. I just recently got my coolant change, and now I noticed a leak. Saw drippings on my driveway.
The mechanic could not find anything obvious, so he indicated that it was probably the intake manifold gasket. Is there something else I could do instead of this major repair. It seems to be a very small leak. Is there some additive I could use that would not cause major damage to the engine?
thanks,

You, "NEVER" put any sort of stop leak in a Rover, especially if you don't want to experience an over heat and a fried engine.
Do it the correct way, either get down and find the leak your self or take it to a shop that can do a coolant pressure test to verify the leak and fix PROPERLY.

Ok thanks for the advice. Does it sound like it could be the intake manifold gasket? Would a pressure test be able to tell where the leak is. I want to go back with as much info as possible.
thanks again

Can't answer that one, that just happened to be one of many thing that mechanic could have stated.
For the most part, the only place for a leak around the intake would be visable if you look.
Look where the air intake hose hooks into the t/body, is there any leakage dripping the there on to the valve cover?

Look for an orange goo arond the engine. Pay particular attention to the throttle body heater for starters. Then start looking around the head gaskets.
Like Mike said, don't let your mechanic put stop leak in it or you will be buying a nes radiator when you finally have to fix the leak.
