Default Coolant leak 'behind the water pump'

I dropped by Disco'00 at the local shop to get some tires changed and asked them to look at a coolant leak I've been having.

They are claiming it is coming from 'behind the water pump somewhere' and are wanting to take it off to look more.

Any pointers for what the leak could be around there?

Very tight quarters in that area. Either the water pump or hose problem.
Have you been loosing coolant at a good rate ( telltale coolant below the engine where you park ).
If the coolant leak is not grossly apparent, I suggest a pressure testing of the coolant system.
