Also remember you have to buy two coils. I have heard of people buying one and wondering why there's only four contacts for an eight cylinder.

Do I have to take off the fuel rails and injectors from the lower manifold or can I remove it assembled?

I remove it assembled. You can't completely remove it when it's still assembled, but you can move it out of the way far enough. Just have to unplug that wire in the back, because it's only like 3-4 inches long.

Ok........9 of the 12 intake manifold I would describe as snug. As in was able to remove them with a 1/4 drive nut driver......the other three I needed the 3/8 ratchet and the "broke" free with a fair amount of effort.

Anyway........the intake manifold will not budge. How much prying, pulling, etc. does it take to break it free?

Make absolute sure you have all of the bolts out before you start pulling on it too much. I have a small pry bar that I use to pry it up and break the seal with the upper manifold gasket.

I took it for a short local drive today to get it up to temperature and when I got back it was dripping again. Same place, off the trans onto the square cross beam and onto the ground. It has never overheated. The only codes I have ever got were 0441 evap and the 0150 O2 sensor.

With almost 70K on a 4.6L D2, the possibility of it being the valley pan gasket, I am tempted to take it all the way down to the heads and do the head gaskets at the same time.........
Be careful with the pressure tester. I personally never go past the cap rating, usually around 15psi. Rover cooling systems are sensitive to say the least. good luck

I just trying to pull up on too much intake manifold all at once. I pried on a corner and it zip around and pop off.
