Coolant leak at this part - what is it?
Original poster here: I did not put the red circle on the picture and it is not in the location of the leak. The possible evidence of the leak is on the small flange at the bottom of the part where there is a white residue. I don't think there is any spray that is causing this and moreover, I remember having the same problem on the other side and replacing a gasket that solved the problem.
So back on topic, where would I get the gasket that goes with flange.
Thanks

You need/must/have to, pressure test your cooling system to find the true source of your leak.
You are not making any friends by asking for advice and not following it from people that know what they are talking about. Good luck
Thanks. It kind of went off topic and I was just trying to get back on. I do and will take all advice as I've had great experience with the info from this forum which is why I went here. Believe me I am not trying to buck the advice. What I saw was the apparent buildup on the flange at the bottom and "surmised" it may be residue from the coolant. Guess not. My memory may have been flawed on the gasket I replace and even why I replaced it. Sorry. Its possible a nearby leak allowed build up of the residue on the flange, especially if it is hot. I did have a small leak not to far away and maybe it was spraying onto the flange and built up over time as it evaporated. The fact that its the SAI is probably why I couldn't find it in the Coolant Section on the RAVE manual - that should have been my first clue.
Again, my apologies to anyone who may have been offended by my follow on questions. The advice from this forum is too good to jeopardize so please keep the good info coming. Still not sure why I replaced the gasket at that flange on the other side - guess it will remain a mystery or maybe I just imagined it.
Thanks again and I'll proceed with the pressure test shortly.
