Default Coolant loss

Got a 2001 LR Discovery II SE right before Christmas. Previous owner informed me that it looses anti-freeze quite quickly. He keeps some in the truck to fill the resevoir, I've been doing the same but would like to just fix the issue. Any guesses as to why it drains so quickly? I'm hoping its just a hose. Thank you-

Do you see antifreeze dripping from underneath when you park?

note how much coolant you have

put pizza boxes or newspaper under the car and run it till it's warm

then shut it off and let it sit for an hour

if you don't see anything on the ground and coolant is missing then your engine needs work in a couple possible areas (big expensive fixes)

if there is coolant on the ground then find out where it is coming from

Better yet, based on your question, and don't take this personally, but you need to keep it full and go to a shop so they can perform a coolant pressure test, do it ASAP cause Rover engine are real expensive to replace.
Get back to us with what they find and their estimate.
By the way, how much did you pay for this truck?
