Default Coolant pressure test

Starting a new thread about this found out some things
Trying to determine if head gasket is blown or block cracked. 99 DII. Got a coolant pressure tester from parts store. Pumped it up to 15PSI and found a small leak in a hose near the bleeder and fixed that. Pumped it back up and it dropped 1psi in a half hour. Probably the connection to the expansion tank leaked down a bit . The universal fitting is the only one that fit.. Anyway It held so I drove around the block ,warmed up the truck to operating temp, when it was pulled back in the garage it was dripping from the rear driver side of the engine again. couldn't exactly see where. Put coolant tester back on after an amount of cool down and it held pressure again?? so heat expansion is opening it up somewhere. Has anyone had experience with this? I am going to probably pull the heads but just wondering if anyone has seen this

Head gasket or Block ??

We will find out. Problem is big tools 1/2 drive stuff. I have read rave etc.
Suggestions for tools ? I have access to a torque wrench. Plus 3/8 drive and wrenches.
Just trying to get up the nerve to get started.

Some stores rent tools as well. And plenty of places to buy tool kits. You'll need a breaker bar or cheater pipe.

Also what is the difference between the stretch bolts and ARP studs ?
Thanks Hope to get started soon. Wanted too this weekend but it didn't work out yet.
