Unless your truck somehow still has the original coolant, running new Orange Dexcool stuff won’t have the disastrous effects you’ll read about if you Google Dexcool.
Maybe that's the case, but I've had far too many bad experiences with it and see no reason to run it over generic green stuff

Be careful when replacing red by green coolant. Do some research before you do that. I am using genuine LR coolant, which is not that more expensive ($30 per gallon at FCPEuro, you need two containers for a dry refill).

Quick update: Discovered the engine temp went up (and up and up) when the AC was turned on. AC was producing air in-cabin of around 70f (read ideal temp is 45f). Got under the hood with an infrared thermometer and found several issues. AC compressor was running at 240 degrees. AC condenser had a big "hot spot" middle right. Had the AC system evacuated. Recharged it myself. No change. Still hot. Pulled the compressor and measured the oil. 2 ounces. Decided to replace everything. Pulled the condenser, dryer, fan motor and expansion valve (fan motor is backordered). Bought an AC flush gun kit an flushed the lines once all the components were removed. Starting off with 6 ounces of PAG 46 in the compressor. Now I just need to find the hours to put it all back together.

Did you pull the dash to get the expansion valve out?
