Default Couple Questions about LR's

I just recently got a 97 discovery and have a couple quick questions. My first question is do the heat/air controls have a backlighting. When it is dark in my rover I can't see where the controls are as far as heating and cooling etc. Secondly, is there only backlighting on one side of the gear shifter (I see it light up on the passenger side but not on the drivers side, I assume it should light up on both and maybe is simply burned out, but you never know). Finally, I recently placed a trailer hitch cover in the rover and now when I hit my turn signal it looks like a small light of a trailer blinks one time. Why is that. Thanks for your help??

sounds like you have a few burned out backlights. whether its worth replacing them is up to you.

and the blinker thing is normal. i thikn that means that the wires are still working or somehting.
