Default cracked SAI pipe... quick fix?

there's a 3/4" crack in my driver's side SAI pipe and it is loud as hell. sounds like a really loud annoying exhaust leak. I am just fixing it to sell so all I want is a quick fix. It steers people away when they come to look at the car because it is so loud

my first thoughts were high temp silicone and exhaust wrap. I also read something about yellow gas line for a temp fix.. any help here?

If the crack is on the tubing that is flat and straight, first take a drill and stop dirll the ends of the crack so it doesn't continue to propagate. I'd then get a very thin piece of stainless steel or aluminum, cut it so you can bend it around the tubing and then use some hose clamps to secure it with a little RTV underneath. If it's on a curve or piece that is made to expand this won't work of course.
