SAI pipe repair
Hello,
I have SAI on my 2003 D2 and I just did a head job. In the course of this I broke all kinds of stuff that I have replaced. Fuel line, coolant reservoir, both small black plastic coolant lines, only 1 exaust manifold bolt, and now something else...there are exaust leaks and I found them....1 side has 1 leak on the SAI tube and the drivers side has both SAI sides leaking. The tubes split about an inch during the head job.
I tried JB Weld, muffler puddy, and metal tape...not holding.
Has anyone MIG, TIG, ARC, or braized these tubes? I think they are just stainless steel. They are $100 a peice and I will try to braise them but I thought I would see if someone has gone down this road already.
Thanks
