Default Craked windshield cowling nastiness, random objects(?)

If you have a cracked windshield cowl, here is what your truck going to show under the plastic after rain. Note, there are no drains so water just collects in the area below the windshield cowling.

By the way, what is that electric plug? There are two of them: one on each side. Is that a hook to the heated windshield? My windshield is not original, so I presume someone did not replace the glass with the OEM version...

Yes, the connector is for the Heated Windscreen.

On my 02, there are drains on the sides (basically the back of the fender) that are about 1/2 inch in diameter

You'll have the plugs even if your truck isn't set up for a heated windscreen. The same wiring setup was used for all models in each year, and extras were added and activated at assembly.

Yes, drains are in the inner portion of the fender...and get filled with debris easily.
