Figure I would update this thread. AB sent me a new O2 sensor (as always dave was very professional). I swapped it out pretty quick even though it was the front drivers side sensor (Always use anti seize worked like a charm!). Truck is back to running like a swiss watch. Well besides the groaning PAS pump, that will hopefully wait a while longer.

 

I have spoken with a number of people, on 5 different forums lately that have had 02 issues from a few different places and brands, not sure what is going on but it is not Atlantic Britishs fault or brand.

 

It would be interesting to know which brands. Only way to know is to see what's stamped on the actual sensor. You can't go by the box. Like I said, the Bosch sensors I got at O'Reilly autoparts are actually NTK.
I was a little worried at first because it kept throwing a code 45 after I got them for a week or so. I'd disconnect the battery and it would reset, then after a while, anywhere from a few hours to a day, it would be back. Repeat. Then after a week or two it stopped. It's been a couple of months now and no codes.

 

Ya would be very curious to know this as well. It has to be a brand with some bad apples. Think I'll hold off till next spring to replace my O2s. Has anyone ever heard of coolant from a blown head gasket ruining O2 sensors?
