Creaking sound around 3rd row seat
There is a creaking sound from the inside of my D2 from the vinyl that covers the wheel well where the 3rd row seat is located.
If you open the rear cargo door and look to your left, it is the blank vinyl plastic where the left 3rd row seat is attached. It appears the plastic is loose and the creaking sound is coming from the plastic not being fastened securely.
Does anyone know how I can disassemble it? I want to take it apart and insert insulating sheet between the plastic and the metal.
Here is a picture of it:

Thanks everyone for your help!

So you want to remove the interior side panel, just below the window? Well. That's going to be a chore.
First you have to rip off the third row cup holder, then the seat-to-sidewall hinge cover, then take out four bolts to remove the seat from the side of the machine. Then remove the seat out of the load space and stuff it somewhere clean.
Then you need to remove the plastic panel over/around the window (one of those plastic studs is actually a screw & cover, otherwise they just pull out), and the seat belts (do NOT allow them to retract more than they are when they are just hanging, or they will not feed out again), and then the little remote and it's fitting, and power socket. and finally, you can then remove the lower panel. At least, I don't think you have to remove the head rests and that little strip. I can't remember for sure.
This might not be worth it. Once I found a sock crammed down there. Accident or deliberate? You decide.

Dear KinverTurtle
Finally! Thanks for your reply. Looks like you are right that this could be a chore otherwise I would have received a lot of replies by now.
I will study this and see if it's worth the effort. Many thanks!
