cruise control again
Messed with this off and on want to get it fixed ITS NOW PERSONNEL replaced ALL TUBING check crusie control switch at dasboard with meter ok,removed sterring wheel airbag to get at steering wheel switch ohmed out switch ok. Followed and ohmed wiring harness from steering wheel switch down through steering colum as far as I could go also tested brake switch ohmed ok .Test drive guess what it worked got up this morning TEST DRIVE not working.
Need some addition help the relay for crusie should be in passangers foot well any idea which one?
It looks like after the realy there is some sort of drive sensor tied to the transmission to prove drive train movment?
what else can should I look at the way it acted almost like a loose or bad wire is this realistic?

Could be the cruise ecu. If you have a Disco 1, you can test it by using the procedure in this thread:

actually need several things to diagnose a cruise control problem.
A testlight, vacuum pump, jumper leads, ohm meter
first off use the pump to check to see if the diaphragm on the engine goes in and out. secondly use the pump to make sure the brake cancelation switch holds vacuum. if you have a standard the clutch pedal and the brake cancelation switch are the same so check both for holding vacuum.
jump the vacuum pump to see if comes on. if it does then thats good.
the switches can be diagnosed with a testlight. if it lights its good.
get a wiring diagram to see whats what and how it goes to make it easier.
if all checks out then its possible you have wiring problems but the test light can also be used to check current cause if it lights on on a wire with a power and a good ground then well the wire is good.
