I checked a fuse I found for cruise in a disco 2 manual. F30 I believe and it was fine.

Are there more fuses to check? My horn and brake lights work.

guess I can test the motor for the cc. But I have to research how exactly to do so.

ty for all this feedback as well!

good news. So after I added a vacc hose and clamped it, I went out for a test. Hit button and hit set button towards me. I didn’t feel anything then after 2 seconds hit the brake or gas. I expected it to kick in right away.

I just tested again and now works! I think I didn’t give it enough time to do it’s thing. Seems like when you hit set, it drops about 3mph, then kicks in and then goes back up to speed I set it at! So I just wasn’t giving it that extra second or two earlier it seems. Maybe that’s not how it’s supposed to work but works a little delayed.

ty all for the help.

im not sure how the heck those throttle cables got reversed but I’ll mess with that next.

So nice having cc! Especially just in time for a long trip Sunday.

It may be that you have slack in the cable and it's taking a second before the cable goes taught and catches up. At this point it's worth reordering the cables and setting them to spec. I still think being in the wrong holders isn't a big problem but you as well sort it all out since you will have to loosen them all anyway.

Congrats!
