Default Cruise Control Problem

Hi guys I am new here, have a problem with my D2 V8 Auto 2000 model, have read the threads and found the hose was cracked, thought ...replace and problem solved...but no it still isnt working, any other sugestions...HELP PLEASE

You could have a bad or no voltage for vacuum pump assembly, the cruise makes vacuum, it does not use engine vacuum. Or many other tiny things could be bad. The RAVE shop manual has the whole story starting on page 360 to 376 out of the 1529 total. I have attached one of those pages. If you need the rest, the whole manual is a free download in my signature.

BTW, welcome. This part of the forum is not for tech questions, so I will move your thread.

Is the fuse good? Does the button light up when pressed?

Replace the pump, odds are that is the issue.
