D&D & their Crower cam
True, some do require lots of supporting work to reap the benefits of the a hot cam, but many are simply plug and play (still require work, but only related to the R & I of the cam).
The Crower and RPi Torque Max cams that I've seen are of the plug and play style, and I'm simply trying to find a source.
Thanks!

there is this new thing call are you ready GOOGLE, when you type in Crower Cams the very first site it shows you is https://www.crower.com, now thats spelled GOOGLE.
I wasnt trying to be mean lol sorry if I came across like that, but its an involved project... its not like bolting in 4.10 gears plug n play and be done. If its done literally just by swapping the cam its going to run like crap, the computer is going to relearn how to run back at its baseline and all will be for naught. after parts and labor the gains even on an agreesive cam will be at best 10hp at the CRANK, which would be the same gains by probably just taking out a bunch of crap to lower the vehicles weight. i think its roughly 1hp = 100lbs shed weight lol. cheaper just to strip the interior, saves gas too haha
Regarding the cam, you likely won't need to make changes to see benefits from such a mild cam. Just having a cam that opens the valves will make a big difference in this case. When cams start to get much more aggressive and the powerband starts to move to higher rpm's, then you need to start changing out injectors, throttle bodies, MAF's, intakes, heads, headers, exhausts and reprogram the ECU to see all of the benefits. And on a Discovery that's just stupid.
I just got off the phone with Crower.
The 53229 aren't listed on the site but are available, unfortunately they're back ordered until May...
No mention of cost.
Any other options? RPi Piper Torque Max seems like a good fit, but I (embarrassed a bit) I cant figure out how to call from my ATT cell to the UK # listed on their site....
The search continues....

Look on Discoweb, PTSchram, and some of those guys on Discoweb know their ****, and PT (from what I've seen and experienced) could possible get it at a low(er) cost. Hell I bought a diff the other day for 70$
AT&T's international calling plans don't require any extra prefixes or dialing codes. When calling Canada or the Caribbean from the U.S., simply dial "1" and the local area code, plus the phone number. For all other foreign countries, dial either "011" or the "+" sign, followed by the country code and the phone number. The procedure is the same, whether you are calling a land line or a mobile phone. Some countries have a leading "0" in the local phone numbers, which are not necessary to dial when calling from abroad.
UK country code is +44

Talked with RPi of the UK today. They offer Piper Cams that fit the rovers.
$505 shipped to me. (@#$*%?
Um, no thanks.
So I just ordered a 50229 cam from Summit and will take it to the machine shop with the OE cam for them to machine off the nose and place the keyway in the correct location, they'll also drill and tap the nose for the gear.
Should be all said and done for less than $200
