D1 brake question

D1 brake question
I had a guy replace my master cylinder on my D1. He used Dot 3 fluid and blead the brakes at the master cylinder where the steel tubes go into the ABS. Now my brakes are spongy and I have an ABS light on. I never had an issue with the ABS light before. What do I need to do to try to get this fixed? I bought two large bottles of synthetic Dot 4. I sure hope I can get the ABS light off and nothing is messed up.

How long was the dot 3 in there? If you caught it quick enough, might do it just flushing with the dot 4.
I've also read that sometimes you need to cycle the abs pump to fully bleed the air out, which of course takes a special computer to do. But thats just what I read, no first hand experience
IMO, take it back to who did it and make them flush it for putting in the wrong fluid
