97 D1 XD, all stock 51K

. Replacing tires, original are 235/70/16. Think I am going with nitto's and the shop recommended going to a 255/70/16. Any comments or advice would be appreciated.

May be a little snug but will probably work, may cost you 1/2 MPG.

A 245/ would be a better fit..
