Value will increase and yes, 60k isnt a bad estimate. It will take some time but they will be super rare as part manufacturers slack off from manufacturing parts.

any ad that states a blown engine I would check on. Let the seller think what they want, I've had people tell me their engine was blown to find out it was a simple fix.

a head gasket job is a simple fix to me.

MANY people think their rover is blown when the gaskets are at fault.

This is a common sight on CL around here, but I'm not educated enough to know what the value might be for one of these that requires 'engine work'.
Still working that out and considering trying a flip sometime in the future on one of these.

I missed my opportunity on a D1 that needed an "$800 computer"........they were selling it for $600 but it was over 2 hours away
