Default D2 CDL Electric Kit

Just spotted this in the Roverlander Britsh Columbia site... sweet deal for someone for $150:

The Rover-Landers of BC • View topic - Clearing the store room shelfs...

P/S.

I am not affliated with the seller. Just passing along a great deal considering a used 2004 CDL or new Ashcroft kits typically sets for $400 to $600.

That's pretty cool, never seen one of those. Looks like it's SPF though.

What's SPF?

I think disco mike has an electric CDL actuator. I remember seeing prices on these a whole back and they were more money than an 04 setup.

I recollect somewhere in the Australian LR forum that the electric CDL kits were popular there was a local manufacturer who produces them. It looks to be no longer available.

Interesting. It would seem relatively easy to make a bracket with an electrically switched piston actuator if you were inclined. Would be pretty clean set up. A little wiring a Covered toggle and presto

mike does has something similar, his uses a electric window motor with special stops installed. RR use an electric control on the transfer case.

careful. one of our club members had one. for some reason electric things that get caked in mud, crud, and ice seem to fail when you need them the most.
