I finally received this a-pillar set from Malaysia. These are made out of fiberglass and attach to the window with doublesided tape plus the3 plastic push pins (not attached to the 3 windscreen clips).
It feels very sturdy and is a solid build. Now I have to find time to install them.
New fiberglass a-pillars

Look nice, let me know how well they secure to the windshield. My problem with the current set on my Kalahari is the upper clips on both sides broke and while driving they rattle & have cracked the upper gutter piece. If those actually stayed put, didn’t rattle or rub on the gutter trim I’d grab a set along with their one piece cowl for under the windshield.
I was going to install it months ago but then R0VERGUY came up with an excellent idea to install screws and nut plates to secure the a-pillar cowls. Then he deleted all the videos and posts he did and I put it all on the back burner though I am still missing a left side a-pillar cowl.
My logic was not use the permanent 3M adhesive glue and tape that came with the fiberglass a-pillar (making it a permanent install). I am going to reuse the rubber windshield/screen strips on the new fiberglass a-pillar and then mount it like R0VERGUY did with the screws and nutplate. This will allow me to later remove the a-pillar cowl (without the permanent glue adhesive) so I can install a new fiberglass lower windshield/screen cowl (I plant to buy soon), a Mantec or Southdown snorkel and even later extend the diff breather tubes up along the a-pillar which I plan to do.
But all-in-all the new a-pillars are very much worth the money spent. They are extremely durable and a solid fabrication.
