I'm looking to pick up a detailing kit for my truck and saw this Meguiar's kit on sale - It's called the Meguiar's Complete Car kit, and it seems to have everything I'd need to clean up my dirty Discovery. Is this a good deal at $52? Or can you suggest something better?

It's a fine deal. None of that is great products, but they're all ok. What color is your Disco?

 

Meguiars Gold Class are some great products. I like the car wash and wax, but the rest of the kit, just so-so. If you have a 03-04 the plastic cleaner might work on the headlights, but a 99-02 have glass headlights, so you won't even use that.

 

Plastic cleaner works well on bumpers and window trims

 

Looks like a good deal, assuming each bottle is not 3oz. Can you find better products? yes but get addicted first then go crazy. If you want it clean and protected? This should work fine.
