Default D2 Internal Roof Insulation

If you remove your headliner to seal leaks etc, try fitting this type of insulation which reduces the heat impact inside your D2.

Be careful when you install this insulation that you don't create any short circuits with interior lights etc.

Heat and Noise.

As someone that rode around with no headliner for close to a year, you'll be amazed at how much wind noise comes through the roof.

If you really want to keep the interior from heating up during the summer months, liner your floors with it too, then reinstall the carpet..

I've got to do this on both of my D2's. Readily available is flooring underlay which states it's for sound proofing and thermal insulation. Not as thick probably but may do the job.

thinking about using it..
