D2 Rear Cargo Door Handle
Does any one know of a write up on how to replace the rear exterior plastic that covers the rear cargo metal handle. Mine (the black shroud/cover) some how was broke all to hell in a parking lot. I know that it was sunbaked so who/what hit it did not have to hit it to hard. Found a replacement on eBay, but looking at it I have no clue how to replace it. Any help would be great.

Yup, pop off the Land Rover emblem with a flat blade and you find a hidden bolt. The remainder of the bolts are located behind the door card. The door card pops off. It's advisable to use a body molding tool or a flat blunt object to pry the door card off. Also, The subwoofer needs to be fully removed before attempting to remove the door card.
The bolts on the far right (driver's side) will look daunting but don't worry a socket wrench with extension will get you in there. It's a bit time consuming, but nothing you can't handle. Take your time and go slow. Don't worry if you break one or two of those push-in rivets on the door card. They're susceptible to breakage. Sometimes, they get stuck in the metal frame - just pop them out and slide them back on the door card.

I noticed the other day my rear cargo handle is damn near cracked in half for some reason. I guess this 91 degree Georgia weather got to it. lol
